Included
All domestic transportation after arriving in Tokyo's Narita Airport (NRT) or Tokyo station. This includes bullet trains, cars, taxis, and the flight to the northern island of Hokkaido. Note that you are responsible for your return flight from Sapporo's CTS airport; more on this in the Logistics page
All 3 to 4-star lodging. Our lodging ranges from western style hotels to Japanese traditional Ryokan. Our lodging is based on shared twin rooms but we do have an upgrade option to a single room if available. You can select this option during check out. All lift tickets at up to 8 resorts Admission to all tourist sites in Kyoto and Tokyo including temples, gardens, tea garden + tea, Tokyo bay cruse, Shamisen performance, and bicycle rental. Available for the 8-day Hokkaido portion, find the best pow with guided off-piste tours for advanced riders with avalanche safety gear. Note that an off-piste guide isn't included for the two ski days in Nagano/Hakuba areas. Breakfast daily (usually a buffet) Mailing ski gear ahead of us so we can travel light and not deal with carrying our heavy and bulky ski gear through train stations. Daily dinner reservations at restaurants that serve different types of Japanese cuisine (optional). These restaurants have been personally selected for their authenticity and deliciousness. Guided city tours of Tokyo and Kyoto Native English speaking bilingual guide drives, informs, and translates as needed |

International flights to/from Tokyo's Narita Airport (NRT) or wherever your international flight arrives in Japan
Any rentals of ski, snowboard gear or avalanche safety equipment (including beacon, shovel and probe) Guided backcountry isn't included in this trip. If you would like a day of guided backcountry, please contact us and we'd be glad to recommend a company that specializes in this service The two ski days in Hakuba do not include a ski guide, but include a bilingual (English/Japanese) facilitator who will be arranging all your ski logistics from driving you to and from the ski resort, purchasing lift tickets, providing ski resort map etc. Lunch, dinner, drinks and snacks are at your own discretion for this trip.
