Day 2-5: Daily shuttle to Pippu, Kamui Ski Links and Asahidake
|
Ski out of OMO7. This hotel has daily shuttles to Pippu (Indy Pass member), Kamui Ski Links (Indy Pass member) and the famously intense backcountry access tram at Asahidake. Choose from the powder buffet on offer from these ski hills!
Dinner for these three nights in Asahikawa will be up to you! There are plentiful food options within walking distance so you'll have a good adventure of it :). On day 5, we check out of the hotel in the morning, ski Kamui Ski links together, then depart at 3pm for our next ski location at Furano. To celebrate our new location, we'll have another big group dinner in Furano! |
Day 6-7: Ski Furano
While not on the Indy Pass, Furano is a great ski hill that you simply can't miss if you find yourself in the neighborhood.
Furano has a great mix of steeps, trees, groomed and groomed runs. There is also gate-accessed side country for the advanced/expert riders out there. Large by Japanese standards, Furano is definitely worth at least two days of shredding. From our Hotel at the Furano La Vista, we're a short 10 minute shuttle away from this great hill. Centrally located in the middle of Furano town, dinner for these two nights here will be an adventure you'll be embarking on on your own! There's plenty of places with English menus nearby so you'll do great! |
Day 8: Pack up and head to Otaru, via a ski stop at Mt. Racey
|
On the morning of day 7, we check out of the Furano La Vista Hotel and head to the Indy Pass member resort, Mt. Racey for a quick ski to break up our journey to Otaru.
Mt. Racey Ski Resort benefits from consistent snowfall and dry snow. Frequent stormy weather in Hokkaido can cause lift closures from time to time. Due to its lower elevation and relatively sheltered conditions, Mt. Racey proves to be a great choice for skiing, when other nearby resorts may not be able to operate due to weather. After finishing up our ski stop, we'll continue on to Otaru where we'll arrive in time for an amazing dinner which is included every night in Otaru. |
Day 9-10: Ski Kiroro, stay in the seaside town of Otaru
|
Kiroro Resort is a renowned destination offering upscale amenities and exceptional powder skiing conditions. Once a hidden gem, it’s now gaining popularity, especially with Club Med Kiroro’s arrival. Kiroro boasts 23 runs and caters to all skill levels. The resort shines in its tree skiing and sidecountry opportunities, with copious amounts of snowfall each season. Plus, its modern lift system ensures a comfortable experience for all visitors. We stay in the seaside town of Otaru, located right on the Canal and finish up our trip with reservations for our group at two of the cities renowned restaurants, including sushi. All dinners in Otaru are included in this trip! On day 10, we head to the airport after skiing. |
Day 10: Drop off day
|
On the final day, we check out of the hotel in the morning then head to Kiroro for a last day of skiing. We leave Kiroro at 3:30pm and head to CTS Airport for a drop off at 5:30.
