Tohoku Ski Rentals

High quality Voile Touring Skis and Splitboards are available to rent for the 8-day Tohoku Storm Chaser, 8-day Indy Trips, and Tohoku Private Guiding packages. See information below and reserve your sweet sticks!

Note that touring gear is required for the Tohoku Storm Chaser trip! While lift-access powder is the goal, we'll put in some work to get those freshies if we need to. Touring rigs (AT skis/split boards) can be rented below.

Voile Rental Skis (with AT setup)
8-day rental ¥37,000

Our rental fleet is made up of Utah-based Voile skis. The powerful SuperCharger model comes mounted with Marker AT bindings which can be used for backcountry touring and are compatible with any type of alpine or touring ski boot.

All rentals include AT bindings and poles but not boots. Skins can be rented for an additional ¥3,000 during the checkout process.

Skis between 154cm and 171cm will fit boots with a 265-325mm boot sole length. Skis which are 178cm and above fit boots with a 305-365mm boot sole length. Bring your own boots! The set includes poles but does not include boots because no matter what, rental boots always suck.

Don't know your boot sole length? The boot sole length is always printed on the outside of your ski boot, near the heel. If you don't know it or don't have your boots handy, you can find it by referencing this helpful link here.

Voile Rental Splitboards
8-day rental ¥37,000

Our Splitboards are courtesy of Utah-based Voile. The model is the powerful and award winning Revelator Splitboard. For the demanding rider, the Voilé Revelator is backcountry’s ultimate riding machine.


The kit comes touring-ready with poles and AT bindings. Skins can be rented for an additional ¥3,000 during the checkout process.
