Tohoku Storm Chaser Lodging
We stay in hotels which are clean, comfortable, and centrally located to all the action in our small frontier towns. However, this is not a luxury trip and these are not what anyone would call "luxurious" accommodations. If you're looking for 5-star hotel experiences, this probably isn't the trip for you.
All of our lodging is 3-star rated, western-style, shared twin room accommodation. Single room accommodation is available subject to availability (request a single room at checkout).
If you're looking for luxurious accommodation contact us directly for our bespoke services. |

Morioka Lodging - The Dormy Inn
|
The Dormy Inn in Morioka is the absolute best that this modest city has to offer. Kick back in the rooftop onsen (hot springs) and relax your sore muscles after a full day of smashing Japow. You'll also be right around the corner from one of the best pubs in town for some of that après.
This hotel is very nice and functional but if you're looking for a luxury accommodation experience, this isn't it, and this trip probably isn't for you. Stats:

Aomori Lodging - The JAL City Hotel
|
In Aomori city, we stay at the JAL City Hotel positioned at the center of this quaint port-side town. Located right next to the bay and right along the pedestrian walking road, anything is within easy distance of this hotel.
Aomori has a unique and interesting culture with its own traditions, dialect and yes--amazing local food. In this town we'll be eating sushi, seeing two musical performances and can even learn some traditional dances (participation optional!). Stats:
A single room supplement can be requested, subject to availability and an additional ¥40,000 per person. The option for this is available during the online booking process. |
