Quick Update: 10-20 cm (4-8") of new snow possible on parts of Mt Asahidake over the next 30hrs

Taking a look at the new products there doesn't appear to be much new snow falling across much of Hokkaido, but it looks that it is possibly that parts of Mt Asahidake might pick up a little new powder on monday and tuesday. It will mostly fall on the higher western facing slopes in the afternoon and evening. I will keep you all updated! I hope you are all enjoying your New Years.

Below is an graphic where you will see the highest snow (Dark Red) ~20cm (8") will fall at the highest portions of Mt Asahidake, however 6-8 cm (2-3") could fall across the higher peaks all the way to Mt Tokachi. Other than that it appears fairly quiet the next 24-36hrs.
