Perfect day to hit the slopes! (Long Range Forecast Out Later Today)

Wow! I hope you all are getting up early to prepare for a long day skiing and snowboarding because it is perfect out there! There are clouds and some light snow showers coming onshore across west central Hokkaido, which have the potential to drop some snow, up to 20cm (8"), on the highest western slopes of Asahidake, but for the most part snowfall will be minimal today.

Which means conditions should be perfect today with temperatures near freezing at the base (-6 to -10c at the top) and wind speeds at or below normal. I am currently taking a look at some long range models for the rest of the week and will give you an update soon.
